There are thousands of hairstyles that you can do with your hair being either curly or straight. The difficult part is knowing how to do the styles, how well your hair will work with the style, and how long it will hold in your hair. If you have a strong hold on the style you chose, it can last for a few days depending on what it is. This makes your life so much easier in morning, avoiding the whole refresh process and adding more product. For this week's blog, I am going to share a few hairstyles that are easy and simple to do, especially if you're a beginner.
Do you wake up in the morning and your hair looks like this? Where do you even start?
Style 1: Messy Bun
This is the easiest and cutest bun that you can throw in your hair in less than 10 seconds. Grab all of your hair and pull it to the front of your head as if you were putting it into a pony tail. Next, wrap the hair tie around once and pull your hair through. Then twist your hair brining it to the front of your head and tie once more with the pony tail. To secure the hair in more, you can add a little clip to the hair that cannot fit into the bun. Bun's are also great for protecting your hair from frizz and humidity, also so it is not in your face all day.
Style 2: Braids into a bun
Section your hair into two parts at he front of your head to start the braiding process. Divide the section to the left into three strands of hair and braid. Do the same to the other side. You can french braid normally so the braids are patted down onto on your head or you can do an inverted braid where the braid pops out of your head adding volume. Braids are also a protective hair style for curly hair as it locks in a great amount of moisture. Instead of doing a bun, you can also french braid your hair normally.
Style 3: Claw Clip
Grab all of your hair at the back of your head and start twisting. Once your hair is in a big twirl, position in upwards and clip your hair right in. Claw clips are ideal for coily and curly hair as it provides a strong hold depending on the size of your clip. If you have thick hair i recommend buying a larger clip.
Style 4: The Flip Over
After you style your hair with your selected products you chose from, begin flipping your hair over in different ways. This is called the side flip which enhances much volume to your hair and makes it look a lot fuller. In contrast to a middle part, that can sometimes make your hair appear flat.
Style 5: Diffuse
Diffusing your hair allows for a faster drying process and adds volume to your curls. We have gone over how to diffuse your hair and the best types of diffusers, check previous blogs.
